Trang Nguyen

Podiatrist
B.Hsc & M.Pod, Member of the Australian Podiatry Association

Trang graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters in Podiatric Practice in 2014 and since has worked across several private practices. Trang has also obtained accreditation in Dry Needling, Shockwave therapy, and Foot Mobilisation therapy to further assist in the management of lower limb injuries.

Enjoying all aspects of podiatry, Trang has a strong interest in managing musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries stemming from lower limb biomechanical issues and utilising soft tissue release techniques and orthotic therapy to help her clients return to their activities as soon as possible. As well as working in the clinic, Trang also volunteers at Oxfam Trailwalkers events, thus she is knowledgeable in both blister prevention and footwear selection.

Providing podiatry treatments for all ages – from children through to the elderly – Trang thoroughly enjoys working closely with her clients to help achieve their goals.
She enjoys travelling and keeping active. When she isn’t busy looking after her clients in the clinic, you will likely see her in her windcheater trekking somewhere, with her recent trip to Annapurna I Base Camp in Nepal.

B.App.Sc & M.Pod.Prac, Member of the Australian Podiatry Association

Ife grew up locally in Hallam and spent most of his youth playing sports, particularly soccer, for the many sporting clubs around the Cities of Casey and Greater Dandenong. Ife has a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice, gaining vast experience in several aspects of podiatry in many settings. This includes experience working in Rural health services, having spent time at Goulburn Valley Hospital and Shepparton. From Ife’s time at Goulburn Valley Hospital he has developed a keen interest in wound care and diabetic management.

– Shockwave Therapy
– Athletic and sporting footwear fitting

Outside of Podiatry, Ife is a diehard Chelsea fan and still currently plays soccer for his university soccer club in Bundoora. Outside of Sports Ife loves to spend as much time with his friends and family as possible and is currently an aspiring DJ (just between his friends).

Ngan (Kim) Harwood is the Senior Podiatrist and Director of The Footcare Clinic. She opened the clinic in 1998 and is grateful for the opportunity to provide a professional Podiatry service to the local community for more than 20 years. Kim graduated from La Trobe University in 1996 and has completed further studies in:
– Running Retraining and Rehabilitation
– Dry needling
– Shockwave Therapy

– Tool Assisted Massage

She’s passionate about treating lower limb and running injuries. Her strategy for foot care is to look at the problem and treatment from many possible angles, and choose the best approach for the best possible outcome. Outside of the clinic she enjoys setting big running challenges. She has completed more than 16 marathons and numerous ultramarathons. Her biggest running achievement, so far, is completing all of the World Major Marathons (Tokyo, Berlin, New York, Chicago, Boston and London) in 2018.

Kim has reduced her consulting hours considerably, focusing mainly on running retraining and rehabilitation for clients who have lower limb and running injuries. Her focus is to work closely with the team of practitioners at The Footcare Clinic to ensure the highest level of care for every client who comes through the door.
