Will qualified for a Certificate IV of Massage Therapy and Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2012 from SAGE School of Massage in Melbourne. He has practised massage therapy for many years now, and incorporates it into his current podiatric treatment.
Returning to study as a mature-age student, Will completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences from La Trobe University in 2017, and a Masters of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University in 2019.
Will is always looking to improve and update the quality of his care and treatment for clients, through professional development and further study. He is currently undertaking his Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines qualification through the Podiatry Board of Australia.
Patient-centred podiatric care, getting patients involved in their own recovery, is absolutely important to Will. In particular, he is interested in lower limb musculoskeletal pathologies, and treatment through the latest evidence-based practices in supported management for patients. Will is also engaged in Exercise-related treatments, allowing patients to bounce back into activity, and diabetic foot care.
His main passions are living a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition, and exercise. He enjoys cooking, in particular his homemade lasagne. He isn’t afraid to let you know he’s a good cook too. Will gets his exercise through boxing, skipping, weights training and running recreationally. In his downtime, he loves watching sports, in particular AFL (North Melbourne), NRL (Melbourne Storm) and NFL (New England Patriots).
