Children's Feet

We enjoy helping children, of all ages move well and stay active.

We commonly see children withdrawing from day-to-day activity and exercise because of sore, tired or painful feet and legs.

We work as part of the health care team, helping to assess and diagnose conditions that affect children’s feet and legs. We then address the reasons as to why the condition is present, guiding the young patient back to their normal activities that they enjoy!

The podiatrists at The Footcare Clinic take pride in the results seen with appropriate intervention at the right time leading to healthy results for children later in life.

Some of the children’s foot conditions we commonly help with are:

In-toeing (Pigeon Toeing)
Tired/sore legs
Ingrowing toenails
Growing pains
Heel pain
Shin pain
Sever’s heel syndrome
Toe walking
Osgood Schlatters disease
Tinea Pedis / Athlete’s Foot
Knee pain
Warts
Fungal toenails
Painful toenails
