Foot Pain

How Can We Help You?

Typically we will see you when things have reached a point where foot pains and injuries need to be treated – so you can regain your freedom of movement and keep doing the things you love doing.
Feet are the first point of contact between your body and the ground. They undergo a lot of wear and tear in a lifetime and, as such, can present a variety of problems.
Please read further to see what sort of problems you may be experiencing or are worried about, and possible treatments we can provide.

At The Footcare Clinic, we like to approach the client on individual terms. That is, we tailor treatments to individual circumstances and needs. Within this broad spectrum there are particular treatments we have over 20 years of accumulated knowledge and experience in.

Some of the foot pain conditions we commonly help with are:

Long term foot pain & inflammation

This could be the result of the ‘way’ your feet, legs and body move – or even the sort of shoes you may be wearing.

Diabetes

Diabetes can present difficulties in circulation, nerve sensation and untreated injuries for the feet.

Nail problems

Ingrown toenails, fungal infections and abnormal nail growth – requires expert trimming and cutting from our team.

Corns and Calluses

Are a hardened layer of skin on the foot formed by repeated rubbing, can result in extreme discomfort for sufferers.

Shin splints

Is an aching pain, or sharp localised pain, in the shin area over a period of weeks or months – can require treatment to abate chronic pain.

Children’s Feet

Can present formative problems which, if untreated, can continue and grow in impact into adulthood.

Our Podiatrists are very popular so we can’t guarantee an appointment on the same day but we’ll do our best to make it happen if you contact us by phone.

We allow 40 mins for all initial consultations. This extended time will allow our Podiatrists to meet you, assess you and give you a management plan and treatment. Our subsequent appointments are generally 20 mins in duration.

Yes, Podiatrists can refer for x-rays, ultrasounds and MRIs.
